Waste Management
December, 2024

While you are finalizing plans for the upcoming holidays, make a note on your calendar that both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day fall on a Wednesday, a regular trash and recycle pickup day for Reserve at Kings Point.

In accordance with the service agreement with Best Trash, there will be no trash and recycle pickup on December 25, 2024, or January 1, 2025.

Trash will be picked up on the Saturdays following Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, and the regular service schedule will resume Wednesday January 8, 2025.  Recycle collection will not resume until Wednesday January 8, 2025. If you have more than what will fit in your recycling container, please put the extra recycling in clear or white bags and/or boxes.  Note also that added holiday volume may result in later-than-usual service times.

If you have additional questions, contact Best Trash Customer Service: call (281)313-2378, or email customerservice@besttrashtexas.com

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!

--------------------

The board has decided to contract with Best Trash, LLC to provide trash pickup for our residents beginning Wednesday, April 3, 2019.  Garage door household trash service days will remain Wednesday and Saturday.  Tree, shrub and yard trimmings will need to be brought to the curb and bagged or bundled.  Bulk items will be picked up on either day at the curb.  The cost will be $66 per quarter to each household.

If you have automatic payment with Waste Management, please be sure to remove this authorization.

As a reminder, we are switching our trash service to Best Trash beginning Wednesday, April 3, 2019. Our garage door trash pick up days will remain as Wednesday and Saturday. Curb side pickup of Recycle will be collected on Wednesday's and Yard Debris pickup will be on either day.

Also regarding recycle, Waste Management will pick up their recycle bins on the last day of WM recycle service (Wednesday, March 27). Best Trash will be distributing recycle bins on the first day of their recycle service (Wednesday, April 3).

Finally, please note that in my earlier communication, I quoted the base rate of $66.00 per quarter instead of the total amount due of $70.79 per quarter, which includes Texas Sales Tax ($4.79). My apologies for any confusion that this may have caused.
